Differential pressure casting of large light alloy components

Invented multi-physics field coupling numerical simulation technology for complex component casting process, developed a complete large-scale magnesium alloy differential pressure pouring flame retardant process, developed large-scale complex magnesium alloy differential pressure casting technology, established a model of melt suction and melt filling affected by ambient pressure in aluminum alloy casting process, and revealed the influence mechanism of gas generation and fluidity on the casting process of large high-quality aluminum alloy components. The magnesium alloy casting manufactured by this technology has a size of 1400mmx300mm and a weight of 170kg. The pouring weight is 750kg, and the body anatomical tensile strength is higher than the application index. 


This research result won the first prize of provincial science and technology progress.
