The research team has built a multi-physics field coupling calculation model for centrifugal casting of super-large complex structure cylinder sleeves, developed a large database of multi-element micro-alloy cast iron cylinder sleeve material preparation processes for various working conditions, invented intelligent cylinder sleeve centrifugal casting forming equipment, innovatively designed an adaptive cooling structure, and broke through the bottleneck of high-efficiency high-center casting technology for super-large cylinder sleeves. The centrifugal casting advanced cylinder sleeves/shaft sleeves produced by this technology have excellent performance, with multiple single indicators reaching the highest international values, and comprehensive indicators reaching the international advanced technology level.
This research result won the first prize of China's nonferrous metal industry scientific and technological progress.
